Statement

The Spiel is a prototype magazine built during my studies at Ohio University exploring the history and lives of Jews in Ohio. This project was conceptualized and structured in August and September 2023, but had an abrupt shift in structure and content after the October 7th attacks on Israel and the subsequent Israel-Hamas war.
